G Custom Homes LLC is owned and run by the German family in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Three people, one standard, and no layer of management between you and the person accountable for your house.
How we got here
Twenty years of finish work came first.
Long before the company was building complete houses, Ivan German was running trim and woodwork crews — the crown, the casing, the coffered ceilings, the stair systems. It is the trade where mistakes cannot be hidden behind drywall, and it shaped how we approach everything else.
When we moved into full home building, we kept that crew in house. Most builders bid the finish work out and hope. We do it ourselves, which means the details are decided by the same people who signed the contract.
We are based in Lawrenceville and we build close to home, in Gwinnett County and the communities just beyond it. That is not a limitation — it is what lets us be on site daily and keep the same subcontractors and suppliers from one house to the next.
